Total War: Warhammer 3’s Upcoming DLC: Lords of the End Times
Welcome to the Wild World of Lords!
Hold onto your gaming mice, folks, because the latest DLC for Total War: Warhammer 3, titled “Lords of the End Times”, is gearing up to unleash some truly grotesque units onto the battlefield! In just under a month, you’ll be able to dive headfirst into this chaotic adventure featuring four brand-new Legendary Lords who are as wild as a Friday night at a pixelated pub!
Meet the Lords of Doom!
First up, we have the Supreme Lord of Undeath, Nagash! This guy is not just your average skeletal sorcerer; he’s like a walking magic show wrapped in heavy armor and has some rather decent melee stats. Accompanying him are the Undead Legions—think of them as the ultimate ghostbusters but in reverse. These units include the creepy Spirit Hosts, floating around causing havoc for anyone too dense to defeat them. Also, watch out for the Morghast Harbingers, heavy infantry that love to drop in and cleave their enemies in half—just your regular day in the office, right?
Next on our list is the Nurgle-loving trio: the Glottkin Brothers. Collectively known as the Befouled Brothers, these lads are like if a horror movie had a baby with a bad buffet. With a reputation for being “gross” and an awesome ability to counter just about any infantry, they’re joined by some rather bizarre followers, including the Flayerkin—marauders who, instead of arms, are sporting swords. Caution must be exercised; those guys are a bit stabby!
If you thought that was it, think again! Enter the Chaos Siege Giant, a towering mass of armor and blades, just begging to break down walls and make a mess of armies. And let’s not forget the Legendary Heroes: Gutrot Spume and Bloab Rotspawned, who both come with their own brand of grossness and a penchant for trouble. We should probably hire a sanitation crew just in case!
Then there’s our noble Elector Count of Middenland, Boris Todbringer! Dashing onto the battlefield—be it on foot or astride a majestic griffin—this guy is always at the frontline, ready to rally his troops. His squad includes the warriors of Ulric and the Knights Panther, armored cavalry ready to bring the pain to those larger, less nimble enemies.
To keep morale high, we’ve got the Priests of Ulric, who won’t just sit in the back say a prayer; they’ll join the brawl with their two-handed axes. And don’t even get me started on the Seneschal of the White Wolf—this lord can boost the leadership of his men and turn them into an unstoppable force. Combine his efforts with some powerful magic from the Celestial Hurricanium, and you’ve got a party that rivalled even the wildest office pizza nights!
Lastly, we can’t forget the Skaven Grey Seer Thanquol, who practically rides into battle on chaos itself, courtesy of his four-armed rat-ogre, Boneripper. He brings with him the dreaded Pusbags, which are as nasty as they sound—expendable units likely to burst into a horrible mix of vermin and goo upon death. They may not win any hygiene awards, but they’re all about that sabotage life!
Plus, there’s Skreech Verminking, the Exalted Daemon that blends fierce melee combat with some spellbinding chaos—seriously, precious moments should be observed to admire the flamboyant carnage he creates!
Total War: Warhammer 3’s DLC, Lords of the End Times, drops on Thursday, September 24. Legendary Lords are available for $8.99 / £7.49 each or all four for a snazzy $30.56 / £25.48. Not bad for a ticket to the ultimate fantasy showdown!
Mark your calendars and prepare to let the pixelated mayhem ensue! With new mechanics for each character and unique campaigns awaiting, this DLC is set to remind everyone that Total War is far from finished expanding its universe!
