Phantom Blade Zero: Expanding Horizons Beyond Gaming

What’s Cooking in the Phantom Blade Kitchen?

So, let’s talk about Phantom Blade Zero! This isn’t just your run-of-the-mill action game; it’s a whole new fantasy universe that S-Game has conjured up. During a recent chinwag with the game’s director, Soulframe (yup, that’s his name!), the chat naturally drifted to what’s next. You’re probably wondering if we can expect more sequels, expansions, or perhaps even a movie! Well, hold onto your controllers because there’s a glimmer of hope.

“We already have some certain ideas and some things, but let’s see the result of this work first,” S said. Basically, they want to ensure Phantom Blade Zero scores big before they throw even more spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks. Fair enough!

Merch to Movies: The Plans for Phantom Blade

S-Game is on a roll! They’re diving into merchandise right now, which is honestly an exciting step. But wait, there’s more! The dream seems to extend well beyond T-shirts and action figures. Imagine animated series and movies tailored from this shiny new universe. That’s the kind of mega-expansion any fan would drool over.

S goes on to say, “It’s a great topic, and we would love to take our time to develop the whole universe into an original, great IP.” Sounds to me like they’re planning a whole empire! Who wouldn’t want to see some of that stylish drama from the game brought to life in animated form?

Speaking of animations, I got a sneak peek—well, as much as I can divulge without getting in trouble! In the first six hours of gameplay (yes, I counted!), there was this fabulous 2D animated segment that popped up. Talk about a visual feast! Imagine a gorgeous animation bursting in the midst of all that cinematic action. It’s rare to encounter such delights!

S added, “After all, it’s all original and unique.” He wasn’t kidding! And if you’ve seen the previous 2D animations, like the ones they whipped up for the Year of Dragon celebration trailer, you know these guys have the chops. So why not keep exploring this creative avenue?

All in all, the universe of Phantom Blade Zero is dripping with potential. Whether we get more gaming goodness, epic films, or dazzling animated shows, one thing’s for sure: the future looks super bright. So let’s buckle up and see where this magical journey takes us next!
