Old Graves Joins the Party: League Classic Patch 4 Unleashed!
September 19, 2026

Welcome Back to the League!

Party hats on, everyone! It’s time to dive into the splashy updates from League of Legends Classic patch 4, and guess who’s crashing the party? None other than our favorite outlaw, Graves! After much anticipation and a few cheeky peeks, he’s finally made it to center stage, along with three aquatic pals straight from the murky depths of Bilgewater. So, grab your fishing rods and let’s swim into the nitty-gritty of this update!

What’s the Buzz?

First things first, our trusty game designer David ‘Phreak’ Turley is here to take us through the updates, and frankly, he’s got more insights than a fortune cookie! Players were encouraged to cast their votes while playing League Classic, giving us a rare glimpse into what the community thinks. Spoiler alert: Most folks (52.8%) think the game length is just about right, while nearly half (48.8%) say the snowballing is perfectly balanced. Keep those votes coming, people!

And hey, the Council is shaking things up by bringing back some cheeky items and features. We’re looking at modern jungle timers making a comeback, and the community’s giving the thumbs up for new items like Zz’Rot Portal and Moonflair Spellblade. Sounds fancy, right?

Now, onto the sea-faring champions! Let’s get to know our new aquatic dynamites:

  • Fizz: This slippery dude is back! His abilities are more or less how you remember, with some spicy tweaks. His Seastone Trident now scales damage based on how low your health is, effective for that final wave of doom! Watch out when he casts Chum the Waters—up close, it’ll have you reeling.
  • Graves: Old-school Graves is strutting back into the limelight! His True Grit lets him stack armor and MR like a pro. Buckshot? It’s a three-shot cone that’s ready to rain some pain. Don’t forget about Smoke Screen; it’ll make your vision go fuzzy while slowing you down! And yes, his ultimate is still explosive, just how we like it!
  • Nami: Oh, Nami is feeling the nostalgia! Her Tidecaller’s Blessing buffs only your auto-attacks now. And prepare for a throwback with her Tidal Wave; it opens up in front of her! So, if you’re hiding behind her? Good luck with that!
  • Nautilus: Our anchor-wielding champ is here too! Dredge Line got a lil’ makeover—now it’s all about cooldown, baby, not mana refund! And his Depth Charge is still formidable, but remember that it doesn’t stun like it does in the live version. Aim wisely!

On the balance front, expect some buffs to champions like Akali and Kassadin, while others like Fiora will need to hit the gym for some strength training. And global passives? Consider them temporarily out of service upon champion death. It’s gonna be a shifting tide out there!

Speaking of shifts, let’s address the elephant (or should I say bot?) in the room. Phreak cleared the air about claims of rampant botting in League Classic, saying it’s all part of the usual hustle and bustle. Most reports ended up being new players figuring things out—no bots in sight! So, if you see someone flailing about, don’t judge too quickly; they might just be finding their footing!

Mark your calendars because League Classic patch 23 is splashing down on Wednesday, September 23. Plus, another Council vote is coming up to decide which champion to bring next into the fray. Choices galore! Get your votes in, and let’s keep this party going!
