Say hello to Entithy, the adorably squishy blob that seriously needs to chill with the munching! This little Play-Doh-like ball of cuteness is packing an appetite that could rival a black hole. While Obleak Games didn’t bless them with an official name, I decided to call them Entithy because, why not? We’re aiming for a lasting friendship here, ideally one where I’m not on the menu.
In Full Bloom is a mix between a Tamagotchi and a Katamari game, where your job is to help Entithy grow into an almighty orb of hunger-induced chaos. Yep, it’s like watching your pet grow and then realizing it might just devour the universe. Sounds adorable, right?
Gameplay: Feeding Frenzy!
So, the game starts off by dropping you in a sandpit, surrounded by all the stuff a blob baby could ever want or need – bugs, bones, and even the occasional moldy sandwich. Your goal is simple: find stuff that’s the right size for Entithy to chow down on. Honestly, it’s pretty hard to miss their gaping mouth, but I still find myself launching snacks into the ether. Sorry, Entithy, I’ll get the hang of this parenting thing!
As I get into a groove, transforming into the ultimate mother bird, it becomes clear that Entithy is hitting milestones faster than I can blink. The camera zooms out, revealing more delectable treats, and I’m over here like a proud parent watching their kid ride a bike for the first time. Suddenly, Entithy’s sprouted a couple of tiny teeth and is even gargling away like a pro.
Now, I’m hyper-aware that this little blob needs some greens, so I’m stealing carrots and cabbages from a nearby patch. I’m lost in this parent-fueled frenzy when I realize Entithy has a full set of chompers ready to tackle the most ambitious of meals, like fence posts. Yes, I thought about it.
Just when I was pumped to let Entithy devour some more adventurous snacks, the demo abruptly ends. Ugh, come on! But seriously, I’m itching to see how big my little blob will get and what whims they’ll pursue in the inevitable cosmic buffet.
Even only getting a taste of it, In Full Bloom kept me in a state of zen—minus the unsettling slurping sounds. It’s definitely more chill virtual pet than brain-buster, but the vibe is on point. If you’re on the hunt for a game that’s a little weird but a lot of fun, you might want to check this one out.
While the demo is available on Steam, Obleak Games has yet to drop a solid release date. But hey, it’s set for 2026, so keep your stretchy pants ready for when Entithy comes back to snack on your free time!
