But the party was short-lived, as Square Enix decided that this fiesty little friend shouldn’t be there just yet, and players had to return the otter to its (temporary) home. Turns out, the glitch was due to a little hiccup involving the internal item IDs. The Senor Otter Pack and another fashion accessory got their wires crossed, which left players with more than they bargained for. But don’t go crying into your potions just yet! Square Enix has fixed the issue, and they’ve promised we’ll get our precious Otter Pack through the right channels this time.

Now, the Make It Rain event is setting off on May 29, running for almost a month of fun, chaos, and adorable accessories! The Make It Rain campaign celebrates the infamous Manderville Gold Saucer, which means a dazzling 50% boost to all the Gold Saucer Points you collect! If you haven’t checked the prizes in a while, you could be missing out on some snazzy additions to the MGP trade-in shop.
