Discipline is the highest virtue in the Chinese empire's army. Years of mental and physical training result in a dependable fighting force, and the Footsoldiers stand as the backbone of that force. Willing to follow the child emperor into whatever endeavor, the Footsoldiers are often relied upon to deal with the emperor's adversaries.
The Chinese Footsoldiers lash out at opponents with their traditionally crafted swords, tough enough to pierce armor, but still able to cut a tomatoe. Also, they can occasionally deflect enemy projectiles right back at their source - making them specially adept at taking out ranged opponents. |

Strapping giant fireworks rockets to your back might not seem like a brilliant idea, but the Rocketeers will do anything to satisfy their emperor's appetite for new toys. Extremely volatile, the Rocketeers are always willing to deliver their beautifull but deadly payload to the opposition. As well as offering a ranged attack, Rocketeers deal damage with final breath, and always go out with a bang, giving the whole battlefield a festive glow! |

These contendly smiling statues are filled with a warm glow that spreads throughout the people. Just by being near these charasmatic figures is enough to fill everyone with a higher sense of purpose.
Sitting out in the field they block the way for anyone who approaches with villainous intent. These statues haven't got a single pebble of offensiveness in them. Readily taking all the hits that are thrown against them, they will keep spreading their karma for as long as they remain up.
This karma helps to regenerate the Emperor's mana. And you can never have enough of that. |

Almost a legend on the battlefield, these furred kungfu fighters have enshrouded themselves in mystery. Only a few enemies have ever reported seeing not more of a glimpse of them. Stinging blurry eyes, dizziness and screams filled with glee, and banana peels are all they recall when victimized
by them. The more hapless victims these ninja monkys disable on the battlefield, the more pearls they earn to adorn their furry necks.

The arrow is a very effective weapon in the Chinese arsenal. They are used to pick off single targets at a great distance. But being confronted by the sturdy Vikings and the fast moving Aztecs, the Chinese needed a way to improve on the classic weapon.
As the wise advisors to the Emperor bent over this problem, the idea was quite literally sparked as one of the Rocketeers accidentally launched one of his firework projectiles into a rack of arrows, setting them all ablaze. The final conclusion was simple: just add fire!
So if you're fighting the Chinese faction, you'd better hope the heavens don't open. If they do, there's a good chance you're about to be showered with a barrage of flaming arrows.
